Breeding to conserve the original Ragdoll in the U.K. and aiming to produce GCCF show quality cats for competition in the UK.
Breeding to conserve the original Ragdoll in the U.K. and aiming to produce GCCF show quality cats for competition in the UK.
It all started with our daughter asking for a registered show cat for her 6th birthday in 2015!
We bought a registered Ragdoll neutered female and began attending GCCF shows as a family. It didn't take long for us all to fall in love with the breed and the show scene.
After 3 years of research, attending breeder seminars with both UK Ragdoll clubs plus attending many, many shows we felt ready to bring our first GCCF registered active cat into the family home; in 2018.
We still regularly attend GCCF shows as a family and hope to one day produce a show stopping registered Ragdoll in our prefix of Nellypawz.
We aim to produce healthy Ragdolls true to 'type' in both looks and personality (closely following the GCCF breed 'standard of points'.) All our breeding cats are registered active and are clear for genetic tests as per GCCF requirements.
All of our kittens are raised in a busy family home; with myself as their full-time slave!
We make sure they are used to the usual household noises (ie. washing machine, vacuum etc..) along with the kids and our family dog Freddie. They are never short of playmates & entertainment!
The cat fancy in the UK is an amazing community made up of people who just love cats!
Since we started showing our cats our passion for the shows has grown immensely. Our daughter helps at the shows and is part of the GCCF YES! scheme, whereby she learns about the different breeds, genetics, welfare and lots of other interesting facts.
Myself, I have helped at shows since we started (as it is a very rewarding hobby); after various roles with different cat clubs I am now very proud to be the club secretary for the Gwynedd Cat Club, along with being a fully qualified GCCF show manager for the Gwynedd Cat Club. Without volunteers these shows would not be able to continue; therefore I am very proud of my family and myself for giving back to the cat fancy community.
My husband has also fully embraced the cat madness (it really is a family affair!); he assists at shows and is also on the committee for the Gwynedd Cat Club.
If showing or any part of the cat fancy interests you; please do reach out as I am always happy to advise / support anyone wanting to take part in this fun and rewarding hobby!
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We are based in Stoke-On-Trent; UK.
No we do not sell active breeding cats.
If you would like to be considered for one of our kittens, send us a message and we will advise if we have a current waiting list.
No, sorry we don't.
We regularly keep our page updated; therefore please follow us; as we will update on cat show achievements and share the journey of our cats and kittens (so always lots of cute photos to be seen!)
